Empowering Families to Navigate the Special Education Process with Confidence
Dr. Tessa Kranski:
Your Partner in Special Education Advocacy
I’m a dedicated school psychologist specializing in early childhood special education (birth to five), with a PhD in Education and Human Development and deep expertise in early childhood development, assessment, and intervention. My mission is to empower families by helping them navigate the special education (IEP) process with confidence, clarity, and the knowledge needed to advocate for their child’s success.
With years of experience in both school psychology and early childhood education, I understand the challenges families face—from overwhelming paperwork to feeling unheard in IEP meetings. I’ve witnessed firsthand how gaps in communication and systemic barriers can make parents feel lost, frustrated, or even powerless.
Why I’m here
I provide consulting and coaching services to help families:
✔ Understand the IEP process, evaluations, and their child’s rights under IDEA
✔ Advocate confidently in school meetings
✔ Ensure their child’s educational plan truly reflects their needs
✔ Work collaboratively with schools while standing firm on necessary services
Empowerment Through Knowledge
As a parent or caregiver, you shouldn’t have to fight alone to get your child the support they deserve. I believe that when families are informed, prepared, and confident, they can create meaningful change—not just for their own child, but for the system as a whole.
